Ash Wednesday Schedule– February 26th
The Cathedral invites you and your family to join us for Holy Mass and imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday February 26, offered at the following times:
7:00 am- Mass with Ashes
12:00 noon - Mass and Ashes
4:00 pm - Confessions
5:15 pm - Mass and Ashes (with the Cathedral Choristers)
7:00 pm - Prayer Service with the distribution of Ashes (with the Adult Choir)
Staff members of the Metropolitan Tribunal will be available for confidential consultation and to answer questions regarding the investigation into the possibility of nullity of the marriage bond (annulment process) in the Narthex of the Cathedral of Saint Paul on Ash Wednesday, February 26th from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. https://www.archspm.org/TRIBUNAL-ANNULMENTS/
Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence, wherein the faithful aged 18-59 are obliged to have no more than one full, meatless meal and two snacks, together not equalling a full meal. All the faithful aged 18 and above are to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and all the Fridays during Lent. For further information about Lenten fasting, please click here.
