Volunteering

The Cathedral parish offers a unique blend of spiritual, community and stewardship opportunities. The work of the Church belongs to all its members. By baptism we are joined to the Mystical Body of Christ and each of us has a vital role to play in the life of the Church. The extent of our active participation will determine how enriching our Faith is in our lives. There are many opportunities for us to share our time, talent, and treasure. Archbishop John Ireland said "There should be no one who, entering the Cathedral, is not able to say–it is mine." For Cathedral parishioners, it should be especially true that the Cathedral is "mine" because we each claim responsibility for it and all its activities, take pride in it, and rejoice to see it flourish as a beacon of hopeon Cathedral Hill. The proper stewardship of the gifts that we have received requires us to take active part in our mission to bring God’s Love to those around us!
